01 Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using doodlebot.co.za (the "Site") or placing an order with Doodlebot™ ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.
02 About us
Doodlebot™ is a South African owned online store selling screen-free smart toys for children aged 3 and up. We are registered in South Africa and comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) No. 68 of 2008 and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) No. 4 of 2013.

03 Eligibility
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian), provide accurate billing and delivery information, and have a valid payment method. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is true and complete.
04 Products & pricing
All prices on the Site are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We do our best to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate, but errors may occur. Product images are for illustration purposes and the actual product may vary slightly.
We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update prices, descriptions, or availability at any time without prior notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or pricing error, we may cancel orders placed at that incorrect price and refund any amount paid.
05 Orders & payment
When you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation email. This email confirms receipt of your order — it is not yet an acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, payment failure, or suspected fraud.
Payment is processed securely via PayFast, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. We never store your card details on our servers.
06 Shipping & delivery
We currently ship to all addresses within South Africa. Free standard shipping applies to every order with no minimum spend. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 5–11 business days from dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. For full details, see our Shipping Policy.
07 Returns & refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every product. To start a return, email support@doodlebot.co.za within 30 days of receiving your order with your order number and reason for return.
Items must be returned in resaleable condition with original packaging. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is paid by the customer. Faulty or damaged items are replaced free of charge — no return required. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving the returned item.

08 Warranty & liability
All Doodlebot™ products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from delivery, in line with the Consumer Protection Act. This does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doodlebot™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
09 Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product images, designs, and the Doodlebot™ name and trademarks — is the property of Doodlebot™ or its licensors and is protected by South African and international copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written consent.
10 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to: fraudulent activity, attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, transmission of viruses or malicious code, or any conduct that interferes with the operation of the Site. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site for any violation of these terms.
11 Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Full details on what we collect and how it's used are in our Privacy Policy.
12 Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
13 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
